Heard this track on iTunes and had to pick up the album,.
The Whip — These guys are from Machcester, UK. Made up of Danny Saville, Lil Fee, Nathan Sudders and Bruce Carter, these guys traks are very enjoyable to listen to. Id like to categorizes this as what electronic rock should be (at least in my opinion). There are not that many crazy in your face screeching basslines, no reptitive pharases/sounds that are found through every minute of some electronic songs, but more subtleties that compliment the rest of their arrangements. Together, All the parts make a whole.
Like i said earlier there are more elements of rock in their sound — guitars layered, harmonized, added subtracted, there all there. They use a wide variety of synths in their works and Danny Saville’s voice is unique, and enjoyable in itself. A joy to listen to. And on top of that all of the songs are catchy as hell.
They definitely have a sound that is their own,
